Margaret Hesse Returns to Speak to Teachers at the Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish Hospital

Attorneys from Tueth Keeney often contribute their time and talents on a voluntary basis to educate and inform professional educators throughout Missouri and Illinois. Margaret Hesse was recently asked to return to the Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish Hospital to talk about “Legal Issues in Clinical Education”. The presentation took place on January 5, 2010. Margaret’s presentation covered  rights and obligations  on a  variety of legal topics including  Constitutional and Contractual Duties for private and public entities, as well as other statutory duties such as those arising under FERPA, HIPAA and the ADA.

Margaret Hesse primarily practices in the areas of education law, employment law and litigation. She has represented school districts in employment matters, including Title VII, the Safe Schools Act, Title IX, and the Equal Pay Act. She has represented employers in labor matters before the United States Department of Labor/Wage and Hour Division and the Illinois Commission of Human Rights.
