Ian P. CooperIan Cooper and Amy Clendennen won a five-day jury trial for Missouri State University on June 26, 2015. The plaintiff in the case, a faculty member at the University, made claims of age discrimination and retaliation under the Missouri Human Rights Act (“MHRA”) against the University and several administrators. Ian and Amy obtained dismissal of all claims against the individual defendants, and then won the trial before a Greene County, Missouri jury. The jury deliberated an hour and five minutes before rendering their unanimous verdict in favor of the University.

Amy has successfully represented school districts, colleges and universities, and private employers before State and Federal Courts and administrative agencies, including the Equal Opportunity Commission, Missouri Commission on Human Rights, and the United States Department of Education Office for Civil Rights.
