Melanie Gurley Keeney presented at a CLE (Continuing Legal Education) seminar for the St. Louis Chapter of the ACC (Association of Corporate Counsel) on November 8, 2012 in St. Louis, Missouri. The Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) is a global bar association that promotes the common professional and business interests of in-house counsel who work for corporations, associations and other private-sector organizations through information, education, networking opportunities and advocacy initiatives. The seminar was titled, Sizzling Hot “Must Knows” for In-House Counsel ““ Turning Up the Heat!” Ms. Keeney addressed the “New Expansion of Public Policy Exception to the Employment-at-Will Doctrine (Delaney v. Signature Healthcare Foundation).”
