Ian Cooper and Jenna Lakamp recently obtained summary judgment for Southern Illinois University in a case entitled Tamari v. Board of Trustees of Southern Illinois University. The plaintiff in the case, a former employee at the University’s Edwardsville campus, alleged that she was discriminated against on the basis of her national origin, and that the University retaliated against her after she complained of discrimination. Judge Nancy Rosenstengel of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Illinois rejected the plaintiff’s claims and entered judgment for the University on all claims.
